(Anticipated completion of Phase I in Green River, Utah in 2024)
Canal Commons is Epicenter‘s affordable housing project consisting of 10 rental and owner-occupied homes surrounding a common green space. This small new neighborhood will extend along the historic town irrigation canal within walking distance of a grocery store, library, post office, park, and one of Utah’s four Amtrak train stations. 
As project manager, I’ve coordinated funding ($1.9 million dollars) and revised the construction documents for Phase I, which are five rental houses expected to break ground in early 2024. 
Design of the five Phase II owner-occupied homes will begin in early 2024. These houses will likely be financed through the USDA’s Section 502 subsidized loans.
