Kenny is a designer and writer exploring rural and urban hinterlands in a changing climate. He helps publish The Last Straw magazine and The Green River Observer newspaper, and leads affordable housing projects at Epicenter. He also serves on the board of the Carbon Emery Housing Authority. Kenny enjoys birding, publishing community-driven media, making things by hand, and building the world we want to live in. He was born in New Orleans (Bulbancha) and grew up throughout the South, but now lives among the sagebrush in Green River, Utah in the unceded ancestral land of the Sheberetch Ute people.
